	The Spirit of Prayer Umbra art studio acrylic on canvas this was made as a devotional effort to pray for the health of a loved one This painting is part of my Feminine Spirits series. This is a quite sharp departure from my usual painting technique and style. While I generally try to be "cute" and pleasant in my everyday art, this new series wants to be bolder and less conventional. I do not use models or reference of any kind, just my "inner world" and imagination. Some of these paintings may make people cringe, and I understand why.The words therapy and exorcism come to my mind.
