	Aunt Kay's wagon Kenneth Posselt Pen, ink and watercolor. This is a very old wagon. That once belonged to a dear friend, who has since passed on. Old wagons, to me at least are very interesting subjects, they represent objects of art, history, and long lost skills. We have to remember when these were built there were no welders many of these were built mostly by hand. No two are exactly alike. Many parts are hand forged by a blacksmith. Some for repairs. This particular model is a buckboard; it was the station wagon of its day. Hauled the family to church on Sunday, worked hard all week. I’m guessing it was made between 1890, and 1910, because of the old metal construction of its wheels. Hope you like my rendition. Item Price  16x20 Original $450.00  sold 11x14 prints matted $15.00
