Amber Dream, mixed media, encaustic

"Amber Dream" is a mixed media including the encaustic method of wax and pigment on a 100% cotton rag, archival, acid free surface.
The image is a female figure in the recline position that posed in my studio. She is dressed in a white gown.
The image exposed throughout the opening in the mat measures 16 1/2 " x 12 1/2". This fine art piece is double matted and backed with the matting raised off the surface of the fine art image. The piece is also framed in a warm silver frame with a front profile of 3/4" and a projection from the wall of 1 3/4". This piece is presented under glass.
