	click images below for alternate view     Hope's Mantra, mixed media Nancy Bossert "Hope's Mantra" is a an oil/ mixed media on a stretched canvas that measures 30" x 40" The abstract is done in rich earth tones of Rust, Sonora sand, gray and black . I stitched into the canvas with linen cord and worked in a piece of archival paper that I dyed. I then added the painted paper crane images for "Hope". I love the use of the tile repetition that I created and I have utilized this in a number of my Fine Art pieces. Examples that are currently on artspan would be Rhyolite Recline, Poppy- fractured. The painting has been framed with a simple black wood frame that has a projection from the wall of 1 1/4" and a front profile of 3/4". This is enough of a frame to allow the piece to "work" and carry itself and protect it's edges or can be reframed to your own style. This is the same frame that is on "Mineral Ring".
