 I am originally from upstate New York. I have always enjoyed visiting Art Gallery's and Art
Shows but realized I wanted to learn more about art to appreciate what I was seeing. A local senior center was offering free art lessons. An elderly gentleman had taken over the class and he taught me the difference between oil and watercolor. I choose oil and he told me the basic brushes and paints to buy. I spent a lot of time at the library trying to learn as much as I could. I consider myself self taught by trial and error. I moved to Florida three years ago and am learning to paint palm trees instead of snow. I absolutely love to paint. |
