Green goldstone necklace
Kimberly Stephenson
Handmade, one of a kind sterling silver and 14k gold pendant with dark green goldstone and dark green tourmaline briolettes. This is a beautiful goldstone with shimmering flecks of sparkling shades of green. The pendant is 2 3/4" from top to bottom, and 1 1/4" at it's widest point. The goldstone bezel and back are silver, and the rest of the pendant is 14k gold. The 2 tourmaline briolettes that hang from the pendant, have movement. It took quite awhile to decide what to hang this pendant on, but I finally came up with the idea for this chain. The chain is 15" long, and 1/2" at it's widest points. It's sterling silver with 14k stations throughout, and it has a toggle clasp. The round silver rings that make up the chain have been individually imprinted with a line pattern, and the 14k gold pieces that decorate the chain remind me of the imprinted wax seals that closed envelopes ages ago. As far as I know, you can't buy componants like these. Even if I could, I wouldn't want to buy them. I think every one of my pieces should be entirely handmade. This was the vision I had for this necklace when I made it. I've set it up for the toggle closure to sit on the front side of the neck. I'm in love with this piece and think it's one of my best. All of my work is engraved with my initials and metals used. This piece is also engraved with "2" indicating when it was made, and #1 as there is one only.
