Can I get a refund?
If needed, you have 7 days after receiving an item to request a refund and arrange for the item to be returned. Reasons for requesting a refund including receiving a damaged item, receiving the wrong item, or the item was not as expected.

How do I get a refund?
After you have paid for an order and you need a refund, go to the order online and click the "request a refund" link. This will notify the seller and start the refund process. Do not click the "Item Received" button because that will release your funds to the seller and will close the order. Also, it is recommended that you contact the seller immediately to arrange how and where to return the item and other details concerning your refund.

At what point can I request a refund?
You can request a refund as soon as you have paid for the order, up to 7 days after you have received the order.

How can I contact the seller?
The seller's email address is provided in the receipt that was originally emailed to you. Next to each item on your receipt is the email address for the seller responsible for shipping that item. Also, if needed, you can try visiting the seller's site on Yessy to see if they have listed alternate contact information, such as a phone number.

Am I also refunded my original shipping costs?
If the seller has not yet shipped item to you then your shipping costs are always refunded. If the seller has already shipped the item to you, then the seller has the choice whether to refund your original shipping costs. This is something you, as the buyer, might be able to arrange with the seller.

Do I send the item back to Yessy or do I send it to the seller?
You must return the item to the seller. The seller is responsible for originally shipping the item to you as well as handling the returns. Please contact the seller in order to get the seller's return address.

Do I need to send the item back to the seller to get a refund?
Yes. You must return the item to the seller in order for them to process a refund. Please be sure to provide the seller with the tracking number for your return shipment. The tracking number allows you and the seller to track the return shipment, as well as providing proof of shipment.

Am I reimbursed for the shipping costs when sending the item back to the seller?
The seller is not required to reimburse you for costs involved with shipping the item back for a refund. However, this is something you, as the buyer, might be able to arrange with the seller.

Am I issued a refund as soon as I contact the seller or does the seller have to receive the item back first?
It is up to the seller whether they will issue a refund immediately or wait until they receive the item back. In any case, the seller is encouraged to issue the refund as soon as possible.

What information should I include with the item I am returning?
Be sure to include enough information with the item you are returning so that, when the seller receives your item back, they will know who and where the item came from. A copy of the original receipt or simply the order number should be sufficient. Also, be sure to provide the seller with the tracking number for your return shipment. The tracking number allows you and the seller to track the return shipment, as well as providing proof of shipment.

How long does it take to get a refund?
In order for you to receive a refund, the seller must first reimburse Yessy and then Yessy transfers the refund to you. If the seller reimburses Yessy using a check, then there is a 7 day waiting period for the check to clear the bank before Yessy can forward the refund to you. If the seller reimburses Yessy with a credit card, then the refund is immediately sent to you. Once Yessy has the refund then your credit card is immediately credited for the refund amount. If you paid for the item by mailing a check, then Yessy will mail you a check for the refund amount.

Is my refund paid with a check or is a credit given to my credit card?
Your refund is issued in the same manner that you paid. If you paid with a credit card then your credit card is credited for the refund amount. If you paid by mailing a check, then Yessy will mail you a check for the refund amount.

The seller refuses to give me a refund; what now?

As a seller, what happens if I refuse to give a refund?
If a seller refuses to give a refund and Yessy finds that there was good reason to issue a refund, then Yessy has the right to issue a refund to the buyer on behalf of the seller. Yessy will then have the right to retrieve any amount from the seller that Yessy had originally paid to seller.

As a seller, how do I give a refund?
As a seller, you can issue a refund by going to your Your Orders & Offers. Click the order you wish to refund. Then on the order page, in the right-hand pane, there will be refund link if the order can be refunded. Click that refund link, complete the refund form that appears and the buyer will then be refunded.

As a seller, how much of the refund am I required to pay?
If the funds from the buyer have already been transferred to you, then you are required to reimburse Yessy for that amount. Yessy refunds the 10% payment processing fee and you, as the seller, are responsible for reimbursing Yessy for the remaining 90% that was already transferred to you. If you choose to refund the original shipping cost to the buyer as well, then you will also need to reimburse Yessy for that amount. If the funds from the buyer haven't yet been transferred to you, then Yessy refunds 100% of the amount and you, as the seller, will not need to reimburse Yessy for any amount.

As a seller, how can I reimburse the buyer for shipping the item back to me?
If you would like to reimburse the buyer for shipping an item back to you, the easiest way is for you to mail a check directly to the buyer. Since shipping the item back to the seller is handled between the seller and the buyer and not by Yessy, you'll need to make your own arrangements should you decide to reimburse the buyer for shipping an item back to you.
