 I am creative. I am inspired and fulfilled by the creative process. Photography is one of several creative mediums through which I enjoy expressing my vision of the world. I have been published as a photographer, author and composer (Theme Song, 1984 International Games For The Disabled)
In addition, my artwork has been accepted for solo artist exhibition (71 solo exhibits to date) at universities, public libraries, shopping centers, book stores, restaurants, banking institutions, government offices and community centers throughout Long Island, New York. I have also served as a judge in juried art competitions and produced artwork on a commission basis.
Furthermore, my individual art gallery can be accessed on the Long Island Art Group website at liartgroup.com . The Long Island Art Group, under the direction of Ed Bell, East Northport, has rapidly grown into an outstanding showcase for Long Island artists.
I am a dedicated gardener and have a passion for vibrant colors and tranquil landscapes. The magnificent landscapes of Long Island have provided me with an abundant source of inspiration. Because my images are extensively edited, they resemble paintings more than photographs and creative interpretations more than reproductions. As a Photographic Artist, I have attempted to capture the charm and elegance of Long Island's scenic landscapes in a comprehensive body of work.
I am an artist. If only I could paint like Behrens and Van Gogh.If only I could play basketball like Michael Jordan and play football like Peyton Manning. If only I could. If only we all could. |
