Hand scaled with thousands of tiny scales before painting in bright watercolors. This allows the natural wood, grain and knots to show though the colors. The fish was then sealed with 8 coats of high grade, high gloss marine varnish. This will protect the colors against fading or damage regardless of were the fish is placed. Rainbow Trout #8 measures 32 inches in length, is 11 inches in height and has a glass gold trout eye for realism. Comes, signed, dated, numbered along with its name wood burned into the back of the fish. The back has also been sealed with 2 coats of varnish. There are eye hooks with wire for easy hanging.Included is a certificate of authenticity.
