	Christmas Cat & Snowman Folk Art Donna Hickerson Acrylic on 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch wood plaque, protected with satin varnish. This neighborhood cat can't believe his eyes. Apparently Mr. Snowman has invaded his territory. I strayed from the traditional Christmas colors for this miniature painting. The sky is a medium slate blue with white circular snow flakes gently falling. The neighborhood cat is a rich medium brown outlined in black sitting on a winter grey fenced topped with a veil of snow. Mr. Snowman is dressed in a warm burnt sienna matching hat and scarf. Down in the right corner is a small woodland creature that happened upon the scene. The frame and the back of the plaque are painted a pale blue. This small whimsical piece of original art will look great wherever your imagination displays it. Thank you for looking and please know that the colors are much richer in person.
