Acrylic on 5 x 7 wood plaque protected with satin varnish. The painting extends over the sides of the plague. This little original painting looks good displayed on a small decorative easel or you may hang it on the wall with a plaque ring.
Over the years, I would collect and save the many wonderful Christmas cards that my family received. When I was a child, it was a big deal to display our cards. We would attach them to the doorframes around the house with clear scotch tape. They were as individual as the friends and family who sent them. Some of my favorites were of Santa Claus.
Santa is flying along at a rather high altitude in traditional red and white with black accessories. Woops, looks like he is trying to catch up with those blue and green packages and candy canes, also he might be missing a couple of pink and green ornaments. Below is a pale blue church on a creamy, snowy landscape line with ice-cold blue trees, and falling all around are large drops of snow.
Thank you for looking and please know that the colors are much richer in person.
