I having been painting scince the mid 1980's and after many years of painting with oils I decide to try watercolor. I have worked in many mediums, but none have excited me as much as working with watercolors. The flow of water and paint floating and mingling on the surface of white paper creates amazing brilliant colors and light that enhance the images. There are many challenges when using this medium, but every challenge opens a path to new knowledge which feeds my creative process. My painting process may change many times as I grow as a watercolor artist, but I believe I will always find watercolor both exiting and challenging. |
