	The Ethereal Forest Gail Stivers ORIGINAL TEXTURED ACRYLIC ABSTRACT 18X24 Signed varnished acrylic abstract MATERIALS: Acrylic paint, tissue paper COLORS: Shades of green and brown. Painting continues on sides. Dramatic earthy piece in which on can almost smell the wet earth of a forest. Varnishing brings out all the intricate colors, as well as all the textures of this earthy piece. The folds of the tissue paper form a nice bark-like effect on the tree forms, and torn pieces create a bushy tree at the right. Washes of brown bring out the depth in this piece.
