 Awards include an Ingersoll Purchase award in a national competition, Exhibition award at National Lutheran Brotherhood show, Grumabacher Best of Show and many others in National, Regional and local shows. Her murals are in the Marriott Springhill suites, Granite Dells Retirement Resort, The Prescott Humane Society, The Pine Cone Inn, Azteca Grille plus many in local homes.
She did all the art for a new resort in Costa Rica, and has been raising money through drawings and paintings for the benefit of a Mayan School in Guatemala, has done much charity work including 32' x 8' murals for the local hospital annual fund raising drives and is presently donating time for Plen-Aire paint trips and all day workshops for groups from her church and Prescott area. She has spearheaded painting trips ot San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. She also teaches private students and at 76 yrs. of age is celebrating "My Time is Come!" and painting every day...a goal long awaited! She gives demos at art groups and has been featured speaker at church retreats. Is also working on 2 books.
She has been married to John for 58 years, has 3 beautiful daughters, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren! "My life is so Blessed! Praise God!" |
