"An award winning 'centipede', the creation of Elmer Wharton of Illinois, stretches skyward. To the delight of the audience, the 'centipede' was able to fly in the light Reno winds, thanks to the flying skill of its creator."
Artist Comments: "I travel to kite festivals around this great country. In Reno, Nevada, I saw this colorful 'centipede'. As it twisted and writhed in the breezes, the 'legs' kept it in balance and added additional interest. Painting it was a lot of fun. The head and face were the best part!"
"Centipede In Reno" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Edition length is 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs). Prints on paper are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are shrink wrapped on fome board. Prints on canvas are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are gallery wrapped (the image is extended or mirrored to wrap around the sides of wooden stretcher bars and stapled to the back) so the print can be displayed framed or unframed. Other products are not signed or numbered unless specifically noted.
