In 2005, John's speed painting of a Hedge Funds Care Dinner to raise funds for abused children raised KYD$8,000.00 at auction. In addition, at Art at the Governor's he was commissioned by Walkers, a law firm, to paint the colourful scene.
In July 2007, John traveled to Vouvant, France for an art tour where he gained further inspiration and was invited to exhibit his work in Nice in 2008. Also, in 2008, one of his paintings raised KYD$2,000.00 to assist with the preservation of Miss Lassie's House, a Caymanian artist and icon.
John's work is infused with pure colour, movement and passion for the human spirit. His work is in collections both in Grand Cayman and around the world. |
