	click images below for alternate view     Baseball Diamond Quilted Pillow Sisters In Stitches (see more by this artist) The hand crafted pillow top is hand quilted by the artist. The pillow front is designed to have the feel of a baseball diamond with a tan fabric that resembles sand to represent the infield of a baseball diamond. Home plate as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd bases are all visibly hand quilted. The surrounding fabric squares are baseball fabric that has been hand quilted to bring out the individual baseballs. The “field” is then framed by dark green fabric to represent the grass of the outfield. Hours of fine, hand quilting was done by the artist to bring out the desired effect of a baseball diamond. The quilting stitches are heirloom-quality and greatly enhance the pieced design. This is finely detailed hand quilting that is only achieved after years of practice. The stitching adds texture to the piece and gives the pillow a touch of whimsy. Each pillow has a high quality, hypo-allergenic polyester pillow form that is very soft yet holds its shape and is a dream to rest your head on. The back of the pillow is covered in a black mottled fabric. All fabrics in the pillows are 100% cotton. The batting used for the hand quilting is 100% polyester. These pillows are machine washable and dryable which makes them perfect for everyday use on your favorite sofa or chair. Complete care instructions are included. Crafted in a smoke-free and animal-free environment. The fabric used in these pillows is no longer produced so these are limited edition pillows that other collectors will not have in their collections.
