This 'Timeless' Art Masterpiece with a Japanese feel & unique & dimensional detailing in high contrast colors has been one of my most popular items.
It shows the colors of the Chakras & the ‘Aura Light!’ It would make a statement when placed on a mantle or shelf & certainly would be a conversation starter when showcased as fine art.
It is highly dimensional art with 3 fans placed over a base & the mat to create an illusion of the fans floating in thin air! While this item does have a Japanese flair to it, it could be used in many cultures.
Frame: 5 inches Wide x 7 inches High. To achieve the texture of the Frame’s colors, I custom mixed colors & developed a technique to create its end result.
The Mat was painted with red over a gold finish & shows a burnished orange (actually lighter than seen in the photo). Lovely off-white silk fabric was Custom Painted in layers to achieve just the correct color blend for background.
As the lighting in a room changes, so do the colors in this piece appear to change. As a result, this item was difficult to photograph.
Screens: There are a total of 4 screens in 2 Stitch Sizes: Fans are
7 stitches-per-inch (fans) & the base is 10 stitches-per-inch (a column). Each of the 3 Fans are in a stage of openness & overlaid onto a column of soft colors often seen in some Auras of enlightened people. Crystals & Gemstones grace each fan.
Top Fan represents the Crown Chakra (white & yellow) & The 3rd Eye (lavender & purple) that of intuition & its top edge in s metallic purple. It has 2 large white & 1 lavender Fresh Water Pearls with Amethyst & gold tone spacer beads.
Middle Fan represents the Throat Chakra with blues for the truth & the Heart Chakra with a strong & lighter pink. It is surrounded with a light blue for solid & verifiable truths with lavender at the top edge just below the light blue for The 3rd Eye. It has Rose Quartz beads & a Lapis Lazuli heart-shaped bead & gold tone spacers.
Bottom Fan represents the lower physical 3 Chakras: Solar Plexus in 2 tones of green. Abdomen in a tangerine-orange. The Root in true reds & maroon. To intregtrate The Light of the Crown Chakra, it is outlined with white. It has Garnets, Aventurine, Agates with gold tone spacers & a silver-filigree-look lavender bead. At the bottom of each fan is a golden ribbon. The Frame has an attached desk style stand, though would display nicely on an Asian inspired stand – perhaps in matte gold. This item took many hours to create & was great fun to see is outcome.
