Art Deco #1
Sisters In Stitches

This piece is the beginning of a new series of art quilts based on the art deco design. This first piece is 27"x30" and is densely hand quilted.
The art deco design is carried out to the edges of the piece from the center design with more hand quilting carrying on the design. A very tactile piece that everyone wants to touch and feel.
The backing is natural unbleached muslin. The piece is signed and dated by the artist.

--Focal Point Exhibition, Minnesota Textile Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota: February 23 to March 17, 2012. One of 26 selected artworks.

--13th Annual Lines Into Shapes Art Exhibition and Sale in Estes Park, CO at the Arts Center. September 18 to October 4, 2009. This exhibit includes art of all media.
