This fish is realistic, and found along the Atlantic coast in rocky areas and also deeper waters. The scales have been hand drawn in charcol pencil, then painted in watercolors, and metal acrylics. This gives the scales an iridescent look when the light strikes them. The fish measures 19 inches long, 10 inches wide and has a gold flecked glass fish eye. Sealed in 6 coats of a high grade marine varnish that will protect the colors against fading or damage over time. There is a wire hanger located on the backside for easy hanging on any wall.
