	click images below for alternate view     Nembwe #2 Lisa Ruggiero (see more by this artist) This is a fish known commonly in Africa and a prized fish sought by many fishermen. It was commissioned along with 4 other African fish for an aquatic display at a Denmark Zoo. The first Nembwe was stolen from the Zoo, so this is the replacement, #2. Carved freehand from wood, it has been hand scaled painted in watercolors which allows the natural knots/grain to show through. Sealed in 6 coats of a semi-gloss marine high grade varnish which will keep the colors from fading over time. The back has 2 coats also along with the date, name, number and dryriver carvings logo.
