Wooden hand carved White Marlin #2 created freehand without patterns. This fish is part of the Living Waters Series of Realistic Fish. Painted in watercolors and pearl acrylics which give an iridescent look as the light strikes the body of the fish. By using watercolors the natural beauty of the woods grain/knots show through the colors. Sealed in 8 coats of a high gloss, high grade marine varnish that has a good UV protectant (the back also has 2 coats of marine varnish). This will protect the vibrant colors and wood from fading over time. The White Marlin #2 measures 65 inches in length, is 24 inches in height and has a glass blue marlin fish eye. There is a wire hanger with stainless eye hooks on the back for easy hanging on any wall. Comes signed, dated, numbered along with its name by wood burning on the backside. Comes with a certificate of authenticity that this is an original piece of artwork from DryRiver Carvings.
