This is the photo I did not find when I posted the ‘Winged Dragon’ Archery Target I created. Views of target are elsewhere in this gallery. Yes, I know how to Shoot a Crossbow & hit the intended target. Yes, I will shoot at Archery Targets that I have Created! See 2nd & 3rd views. During this Games Tourney, I shot for fun, not to win, as I was the Sponsor & Autocrat for the 1990 Games Tournament. Please view #3 with the Newspaper Article I wrote for the Montrose Daily Press & supplied them with the photo they used for the article. Further, I believe it is only fair that as Autocrat & Creator of said Archery Target & its Rules that I do not shoot for score. I did ‘kill’ my dragon! The Games Tourney was on my property in Western Colorado. We had plenty of space for all activities with large & old trees for shade. The house was built in 1909 & an old farm house. See the 'Winged Dragon' within this gallery in another view. The costume I am wearing is 1300s German Style. Its brown over-tunic was often worn with a medieval shorter leine with tighter sleeves, pants & boots for shooting archery. The trim on the 3 tunics I have on in this view are oak leaves (wide trim) & roses (narrow trim), both in shades of browns & off white. The wood & leather belt I am wearing was made for me by my son, Scott, when he was in high school. It is a wonderfully comfortable belt. If I ever were to get back into Archery – I would procure a Crossbow. Much more accurate & great fun to shoot!
