A weed is a plant whose benefits are not found yet.
For me dandelion is not a weed. Its leaves and flowers when boiled and made as a tea reduced the size of my prostate. (Check with your doctor first before trying this.) No longer have I to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night to empty my bladder. Saves me lots of dollars buying drugs that will eventually harm my kidney and/or liver as well as be forever hooked into them.
What's more to say about dandelion? its flower is so attractive. Its yellow beauty is something you won't miss in a sea of grass. It is light sensitive. It welcomes with joy sun's presence. I've observed the flower just blooms within an hour, or even less. When it's ready to propagate its seeds (as shown here), the thing is so attractive. It is like seeing the micro and the macro of the universe. The seeds are like streaming electrons surrounding the nucleus--the micro. It's also like a galaxy surrounded by clusters of stars with a large center or black hole--the macro.
