Two XJR-9 Jaguars run together at sunset as they rush into the long night during the 1988 24 Hours of Daytona. The #60 car driven by Martin Brundle, John Nielsen, and Raul Boesel eventually won the endurance contest after a closely contested late race battle with the Porsche 962 of Bob Wollek, Mauro Baldi and Brian Redman. The winning car covered a distance of almost 2,592 miles as it broke an 11-year Porsche stranglehold on the event. The #61 car driven by Jan Lammers, Danny Sullivan and Davy Jones lead briefly but eventually dropped out with no oil pressure after 512 laps. Original oil on stretched canvas painting also available.
