2003, The Resurrection of the Shoe
One Nation Under God AKA Steve Kreuscher (see more by this artist)
This is the 2003 remake version of my 1989 "The Resurrection of the Shoe"
On 7-7-1989, was the day after my ex-wife divorced me, that day is the beginning of what I call "My Resurrection Years". I remade this piece to put my four children in it ( I symbolize my four children as four golden birds and also the four golden pillars, to represent them as my four guardian angels, whom God used to get me through the absolute toughest times of my life back in 1989, by their pure simple innocent love for their father, who had always been there for them and at that time they were totally there for me and carried me through, with their love.
This colored pencil painting took 350 hours to do.
My precious, 4 year old first granddaughter, calls it "off to See the Wizard"

You capture what cannot be seen only felt - breathtaking - I see your struggle - our bodies mortality versus our spiritual dreamscape in your work - I enjoyed it very much - and thank you for your review of my work as well - I think we all struggle to truly see one another honestly and purely in both our reality and our minds' eye - Olan |

About Kreuscher's Art
These critical remarks are for the viewing public... I say that you will enjoy the language of Art best if you look & see!
As you view each & every one of Mr. Kreuscher's images you will become better acquainted with yourself. This is why Art is so important... See, feel but most of all believe. Wonderful Show!
