He is extraordinaire and well-versed, he is the king of arts. His work are incommensurable, he has extra brains and great eyes. He is so talented in every way possible you define him. He is reputable for what he does. That's what makes him an exceptionally talented man. His name is Gregory Myrick, the city's pride for his legendary paintings. He is known to many for both local and international tourists who are eyeing on his spot. Right by Johnson Square where he displays and people buying his arts. He signed each prints or posters dated as sold, and with warmth smile he shake them by the hand and there's a story about "the artist" begun to unfold. For quite awhile I have known him, then I learned how his painting career evolved. He started when he was young then he grew up painting until he sits in a pot of gold. Then he painted anew and more,which at present are not even out in the market. And when I saw all his paintings, I was stunned and surprised. How could a man possibly paint so magically and in a twinkling of an eye its done beautifully? He is so logical being, he is a master of his artistry.He is so undeniably imaginative and a thinker who can create anything almost impossible by the hand. He is really a great talent, a composer of arts. Little did we know and thesame as his hometown,Gregory Myrick is a gallery of treasure. He is a pot of gold. From all his paintings of scenic & historic sites of Savannah, the anti-bellium South of cotton fields to the Civil War and other battles, the legendary & iconic music stars such as B.B King, Louie Armstrong, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Pavarotti, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Michael Jackson,Bob Marley,Miley Cyrus and many others, the historical Jazz Music inpired paintings with Mardi Gra and how New Orleans embraced its feistivals, the arts that shows power,endurance and stability of strenght for the win in Sports; such as Tiger Woods, James Lebron, Miami Heat I etc.,then an inspiring creations that reaches out the heart,mind and soul of every African-American as he painted some culturally acclaimed presentations of arts that promotes African-American Culture and other renowned personalities and famous stars of the world such as; Princess Diana, Marilyn Monroe and Ernie Barnes. Most of all, Gregory Myrick painted the 44th US President "Barack Obama in the Oval Office" and the gratifying fall of the notorious bandit of the world that inflicted the lives of millions in disastrous catasthrophe which set the record of a job well-done by Team Six called "The Bullseye" Obama Got Osama. This painting represents a headline news of the world and lightened our path to move forward and re-embrace the glorious life that is within us, free from any harm as that is what America stands for; The Land of the Free.
