I will tell you the very personal story behind this spontaneous "Mother and Child" drawing
and how it came into my very private world.
In the year 1966 my wife and I were lucky enough to have created a healthy baby boy...my only son.
On the second day from his birth, as he was in his new home, his mother was sitting in a soft chair, holding this very special being in her arms as she tenderly allowed him to feed at her breast.
As I entered their room I was immediately aware of a beautiful event taking place right before my eyes.
I said, "don't move", then quickly found a pen and paper,and proceeded to draw. The drawing took all of a minute or two to complete... quickly not to lose the moment. As you can see every stroke had meaning. It was drawn only to celebrate my son's birth. It was a drawing that I had to make.
Still to my amazement, prints of the original drawing have been purchased and sent to families and friends throughout the world and are still being gifted and sent with love to this day.
