Painted on exceptionally beautiful paper, Khadi, Indian Rag Paper, made in the Indian villages. I did not wish to cover it all but made the deckle edges an integral part of the painting and should be shown when the painting is mounted and framed.
The beautiful Khadi paper makes painting watercolour really exciting and the reflections work superbly. A very detailed complicated scene from which I have selected a few pedestrians, some sitting eating the famous fish and chips beside the lovely old fishing vessels, with all the ropes, masts and general boating equipment.
