View from Warwick
Dr. Michael Durst (see more by this artist)
This painting is of the incredible view from the Warwick Wine Estate, near Stellenbosch, one of Cape Town, South Africa's premier vineyard areas.
The Warwick wine estate was known as the farm, "Good Success," from 1791 until 1902. After the Anglo Boer war, Colonel Alexander Gordon from Warwickshire regiment bought the farm and renamed it ‘Warwick’ as a tribute to his regiment.
The images of the frames and in rooms are for illustrative purposes only.
The wine estate is now owned and operated by the Ratcliffe's who purchased the original painting.
This work is now available as a beautiful limited edition, giclee impression on canvas, for only 125.00. Each is numbered, signed and hand-embellished by the artist with his own varnish and paint technique. Thus, each canvas impression is a unique work of art and valuable as an investment piece.
It will be shipped to you ready for a gallery wrap or to be framed for $35.00. It will arrive, rolled in a heavy card board tube, with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist.
These editions can be done in a variety of sizes, so contact me via email at DurstArt@aol.com to get a quote on the size you would desire.
Since I am currently busy with an exhibit, please allow two weeks for shipment.
