	Morning Meditation in the Park Melanie Elliott (see more by this artist) This painting measures 19 inches in width and 15 inches in width. It has been painted on superior rag paper, framed with a pewter stained wood and double matted in a linen and green inner matt measuring two inches in width. This park setting is meaningful to me as it is here where I meditate in the early morning hours. I have tried to capture the freshness of the air, the glorious sun, shadows that are crisp, and a sense that space is expansive. The painting of this location is from the heart and is the most interesting and meaningful endeavor I have discovered. I cherish the fleeting moments when eyes, hand and spirit come together.
