"The rolling storm clouds rise far off over the Pacific Ocean and looming 'tunderheads' speak of changing weather."
Artist comment: "Most of the seascapes I paint in oil on canvas, are traditionally green and grey with somewhat blue foam patterns. Here, an early morning sun is low and a still blue sky reflects down upon sea and foam. The dramatic lighting seems to make the dark clouds darker and the seagulls stand out starkly."
"Thunderheads" is a limited edition, giclee print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Edition length is 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs). Prints on paper are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are shrink wrapped on fome board. Prints on canvas are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are gallery wrapped (the image is extended or mirrored to wrap around the sides of wooden stretcher bars and stapled to the back) so the print can be displayed framed or unframed. Other products are not signed or numbered unless specifically noted.
