12x16 oil on canvas,no frame,an original Wendy Detweiler. This scene is in Medford Oregon US...year 1947...taken from a photo , I was amazed at the road sign seen in the pahoto , the sign is right there in the middle...who needs road maps?,the sign said it all.In this scene it is almost Christmas, though it has snowed already the big storm is on the way, see the DC3 airplane in the upper top sky area ?...bet it was in a hurry to beat the clouds.The stores and streets decorated with Christmas decor,and the snow already on the ground still has shiny flakes. This painting is not complete.
