Several steps are involved in the process, which begins with the basic design. Next the paint is laid...and this case, the background is rendered to look like stained-glass. 3rdly, the cross is designed and a stencil is cut. 4th the stencil is placed on the painting and a mixture of paint and gel is applied, which is 3-D. 5th 'jewels' are selected and applied to the textured surface before it dries. The final step is an over-all coat of varnish; this helps retain the integrity of the collage and heightens the colors of the paint. This bejeweled beauty has a sawtooth hanger on the back, so you may simply unwrap it,hang it up and enjoy it for a lifetime! Makes a wonderful gift for those who have a strong faith.
