"The Bread maker" is an Original Folk Art Painting. It is painted on a section of an antique wood headboard. My love for antiques and the interest of simpler times is greatly conveyed in this piece. The Baker portrays great strength and character as she kneads her next loaves of bread. The black framing is about 2 1/2" wide and almost 1" thick. The main painting is inset about 3/4". The outer left side of the frame has a notched out strip running down it that does not show because the sides are painted black. The black frame is distressed at the edges. Pictures were taken in sunlight. Painting weighs 4 1/2 pounds. This is a wonderful unique piece that really gives the essence of yesteryear.
