**This piece is a diptych consisting of 2 canvas panels. You are receiving 2 separate paintings.
~ABOUT: This piece is about the migration of the monarch butterflies...the colorful vibrancy of Indian Summer...the ethereal quality of butterflies en masse.
These paintings are very high texture. An acrylic medium was applied prior to painting to highlight the shapes and direction of the brushstrokes. A gold paint, applied to the butterflies' wings, enhances the ethereal beings, giving a sense of motion to the shapes throughout.
