Oil on canvas reproduction of Niles Spencer's 1934 precisionist painting, "Across the Tracks." The precisionist art movement, also sometimes called architectural-geometric or primitive painting, became popular in America in the 1930s and 40s. My interpretation of Spencer's work is in water soluble oils on canvas, and adheres closely in composition and color to the original. I framed it in a black wood frame, which to me works very well. 14 x 18. Wire installed, ready to hang.
