	Fire Recovery Theresa Eichler (see more by this artist) This painting is quite personal. Okanagan Mountain Park was subject to a massive forest fire in 2003. My job at City Hall was drastically changed for a year following the fire to help people recover from their losses. Environmental impacts were of grave concern to the City as well. I visit the park now & then to see how the natural environment is recovering. Last summer, I was struck by the beauty of the fireweed against the burnt trees.
