Morning Meditation II: Inventory # 090104. Acrylic and mixed media on 12" x 12" birch panel. Sometimes I get thoughts about life from unusal places... like doing yardwork. On this particular morning I was clearing out old debris from the flower beds and I thought of that being a metaphor for life. Sometimes it is necessary to to discard old routines and thought processes in order to make way for new growth. Now that the weeds are gone I'm planting a row of happy thoughts and positive goals.
