At some point in the distant future our cameras will capture more than sound and images from reflected light. This item is my conception of a bio-medical recorder capable of sampling life forms in distant places. The complexities of such an invention required the assembly of 88 pieces of glass (including 19 curves to accommodate the various lenses and controls). It is 11 inches wide, 7 inches high and 5.2 inches deep. [This item was also awarded first prize in crafts in the prestigious Washington Square Outdoor Art Show].
