Arlene's Cheese Tray Bottle 1001©
Avalon Art Studio (see more by this artist)
"Arlene's Cheese Tray Bottle 1001©" is appoximately 12" x 4.5" green recycled wine bottle that is fused and slumped at 1465° F for about 9 hours from start to finish. She then painted a wedge of swiss cheese onto it with Pebeco glass paints and fired it again at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. This is part of award winning American artist Arlene Wright-Correll's "Green Planet Series Recycled Fused Glass" series whereby the artist takes any glass object or broken glass and creates a piece of functional art out of it or with it.
Now you can use it to serve cheese, pretzels, snacks, whatever or as a spoon rest on your stove top or counter. It makes a wonderful piece of functional art and a great gift item. It is signed, dated and numbered and comes with an EBSQ Certificate of Authenticity and an artist bio. It also can be hung on the wall or on a rack hook when not in use and it becomes a decorative art piece.
Buy this "one of a kind" piece of recycled fine art today and help to keep our planet green! Plus all the profits from this piece is sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital so you are really doing a great thing by ordering this piece today.
Gallery Price is $49.50
