ANTIQUE ROCKER * MOST DEFINITELY ONE OF A KIND
Antique 100 yr+ old rocker I doubt you will ever find another one like this, it was brought over from ENGLAND many yrs.ago !! I have had it about 25 years, just don,t use it ,it just sits in my home storage room ,need to make some room. Just view the pictures they speak for themselves.
DEFINITELY ONE OF A KIND $500.00 IS A BARGAIN !!! it really belongs in a museum.says my decorator.
The price has been reduced for quick sale, and very fair due to the quality and history of this rocker . We considered it to be old world Art , unlike anything made today needless to say. This rocker has English history to it , it was from what I remember to have been purchase at an Art auction at Cheffins in London England. Cheffins has been around since the early 1800 hundreds and presently has a impeccable reputation in Art Auctions.
Not to forget, it has been better than 25 yrs.in my possession , but what comes to mind is this rocker was custom made for a English nobleman, comes to mind, from what I can remember., it,s been 25 yrs or so ,I will emphasize this about this rocker ,I put it in storage because it received more attention than my other beautiful things in the room , yes it was a real attention getter !! it has that old world charm to it. We never sat in it ,to us it was considered a piece to be treasured.
I spent hours on the computer in Antiques Rocker searches, due to having lost the paper work, however not one rocker even came close to looking like this one or as charmingly beautiful as this one , by the way it,s solid black walnut wood.For the life of me , I don't seem to be able to locate the very interesting paper work to it, sorry. But I,m in no rush to sell it ,possibly the paper work will surface ,It,s called an affidavit of authenticity from Cheffins that would authenticate it,s history. Also bear in mind if I locate the paper work, the price will be very firm or unquestionably be considerably much higher ,justifiably so.

This was from a Mr James J Brollens ,with his permission.is --- I saw your ad on creigslist as well as pictures .I am presently retired from 32 yrs. of Antique furniture restoration if I can be of any service to you contact me by email , I just had to give you my comments on your rocker on creigslist, . Judging from your pictures and I checked all my files on antique rockers that are very extensive and found not a single rocker that looked even close to yours in design, all things considered. I searched through literally hundred,s of antique rockers , so as you say one of a kind, I must agree . I understand you misplaced your paper of authenticity ,I would not rush to sell this rocker from what I can see it is a very beautiful Antique rocker that will most likely draw collector,s and worth every penny your asking . Just to mention the history you say custom made for the Churchill family , however we have many Churchill's in England but not many have a custom made rocker made for them. Sir according to all indications you may very well have a priceless Artifact in your presence !!! , locating the authenticity papers is a must for you the value of it could be ten times over or better than what your asking. If I have any additional information I,ll let you know James J Brollens
