	click images below for alternate view     Gratitude Feast Invite & Gift Maureen W. Clifton (see more by this artist) After Their Reign as Prince & Princess of the Principality of the Mists in the Greater Bay Area of California, known in the SCA Medieval Organization as part of The West Kingdom, Their Highnesses Christopher & Esmirelda had a Gratitude Banquet for those who had been most supportive during Their Reign. The invitation’s Calligraphy for the event was Scribed by the then Lady Dierdriana of the Misty Isles. The artistic border & unicorn were from ‘clip art’ & added by Their Highnesses. Then, they had them printed on parchment looking paper & mailed to all the guests. The contact information, as well as part of the event’s address have been removed. It was a lovely banquet with much fun & revelry. For each guest & their Highnesses, Esmirelda requested that Dierdriana find linen dinner napkins at 2nd hand stores. Once procured, they were laundered, repaired as needed & each one of the 38 Dinner Napkins were Embroidered each guest’s 1st Initial upon a corner. The Dinner Napkin was Their Highnesses gift to each guest. I still have mine, though it has been laundered many times & needs a good soak on one of those modern stain removal products, as well as some repair on two edges. I pressed & folded it, then scanned it as a 2nd view herein. It has been to many feasts & medieval banquets over the last 3 decades. It provides me of fond memories of great times with wonderful friends & ‘chosen’ family!
