	Old Bangalore Kuttan Menon (see more by this artist) A scene from 1940. NORTH PARADE. The soldier is a Sapper from The Sappers and Miners of The Madras Regiment. It is the oldest of the British Indian Army and much decorated.The head gear grew out of Wellingtons Shako. Car in foreground is a Riley.
