Feathery serpent
Valeriy Chayka (see more by this artist)
This image was born when I read
a poem of Hose Lopes Partilio "Ketsalcoatl".
It was built on ancient legend of American
Indians about a white man whom they found
on the coast tied to the cross-piece.
Indians cared of him.And he taught them many
handicrafts.They named him Feathery Serpent
and began to bow down as to god.
Then he asked to tie him to
cross-piece and to give up back in an ocean.
They did so with great sorrow
and tears.
