It was great fun to make & had deep Spiritual connections! It is, perhaps, the most complex & detailed item ever. Like all of my Fine Art, no patterns or designs were used in its creation. It was created using my intuitive process!

As mentioned, Native American people and Shamans have given me great compliments on this art & wondered how I would know what to use for their culture.
So, I let them know I was born in Pima County in Tucson, Arizona. My Father taught me much & I have continued my education about Native Americans, having been to Pow-Wow’s, danced with the Ute’s in Western Colorado at the Ute Museum & been to many Native American Museums & on reservations.
Besides growing up in Arizona & Southern California, I have always liked Native American culture & art.
Specifications for this Double-Sided Art Include:
Size: 12+ inches Wide x 22 inches in Length. Stitch Size: 10 stitches-per-inch. Threads: Cotton, Pearl Cotton & Metallic. Hoop: Painted & Wrapped in Metallic Cord in a design I invented.
Suspended in the center of a Custom Painted, Metallic Cord covered Wooden Hoop in a design wrap that I invented is a 5 inch square x ½ + inch deep box.
The box sides’ are detailed with intricate designs & beads to mimic those seen in Native American clothing.
The bottom part is a Spirit Stick decorated & embellished & from which are beads are attached.
The dark & light brown large feathers are’ tail support feathers’ from a Peacock who lived on our property in Western Colorado & kindly left them for us one day!
It includes a Native American ‘pottery shard’ my Father found on a ‘desert dig’ many decades ago, a shield & an arrowhead some friends in Western Colorado gave me.
There are many unusual charms used & many natural elements used in this complex, intricate design, including carved fetish beads & other Gemstones & Crystals.
There are many different specialty beads & some of the stitching is raised. This item took many months & untold hours to complete!
