This embroidery piece is reproduction one of the most famous Chinese calligraphy works - Wang Xizhi's Lan Ting Xu, all the Chinese words and stamps are 100% hand embroidered by a professional embroidery artist using black and red silk threads on silk base.
Wang Xizhi (c.303-c.361 AD) was born in today's Shandong Province. He was a great calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and was called by later generations the Saint of Calligraphy.
