The Chapel stands on marshland donated by Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Porter. Originally built in
Georgetwon, the building was dismantled and rebuilt on the island lot in 1946. In 2005, the Chapel had extensive renovations including new siding, roof, windows, seating and central heat and air conditionin.g During the summer months, visisting ministers hold interdenominational services each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.The Chapel ahs been the site for many weddings, Christenings, Memorials, etc.
