Marina Kruchina, Designer
Artist and designer Marina Kruchina was born and raised in Russia. Her artistic vision is influenced both by the American lifestyle as well as her Russian heritage. Through her world travels, Marina has gained broad exposure to different cultures and landscapes. These experiences have motivated and influenced her creative vision and have introduced her to a variety of jewelry styles and materials.
While living in the United States (Paradise Valley, AZ), Marina became fascinated with the world of powerful gemstones and eye-catching crystals by attending various jewelry trade shows including the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Over the years she pursued her interest in jewelry making and the demand for her designs escalated among friends and followers. Later, her hobby turned into a business and she established her company - AQUAMARINA JEWELRY.
The Company’s name “AQUAMARINA” combines the artist’s name “Marina” and her birthstone and favorite color “aquamarine”.
Marina’s jewelry collection includes a wide variety of natural stones, crystals, fresh water pearls and other materials. Although she uses mostly natural stones wrapped in sterling silver or with sterling silver findings, some pieces are also made with copper, gold or gold-filled beads and findings. Marina also uses silk, leather, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, vintage glass beads and findings in her jewelry designs.
Marina’s true love and passion favors natural stones and crystals. She believes that rough, unpolished organic gem stones give jewelry a natural look, allowing the stone to show its radiant beauty and power. The skillful result is when each design is drawn from the simplicity and color of nature. Marina strives to create designs of lasting beauty that rise above trends.
What Marina loves most about her work is making people feel good about themselves while wearing her jewelry. She hopes that her collection will offer many options for your enjoyment.
