	Embolism Alex Mariquit 'Squares' are a series of paintings that are...well...squares. I commonly paint on a rectangular surface, about a 2.5:3 ratio. A square focal frame offers different experiences and perspectives to my work. 'Embolism' is cascade of colors, painted with acrylic on 24" X 24" X 1.5" gallery stretched canvas.
